The design process begins with thorough research into current surf magazine trends and broader contemporary design. Through collaborative sessions with the trio, their vision and aspirations shape the design direction. Immersing in surf slang, the design incorporates playful yet sophisticated elements. Multiple concepts are brainstormed and refined based on stakeholder feedback, aiming to break new ground in the surf magazine landscape.The final design, marrying contemporary aesthetics with surf culture, is executed in collaboration with editorial and production teams. The magazine's launch is accompanied by a strategic marketing campaign, highlighting its fresh design and unique incorporation of surf slang, setting it apart in the surfing community.
